The elevator door system can be divided into two types. The one installed at the landing at the hoistway entrance is the landing door, and the one installed at the car entrance is the car door. The landing door and car door can be divided into center opening door, side opening door, vertical sliding door, hinged door, etc. according to the structural form. The split door is mainly used on the passenger elevator, the side opening door is widely used on the cargo elevator and the hospital bed elevator, and the vertical sliding door is mainly used on the utility elevator and large car elevator. Hinged doors are less used in China and more used in foreign residential ladders.
Elevator landing door and car door are generally composed of door, guide rail frame, pulley, slider, door frame, sill and other components. The door is generally made of thin steel plate. In order to make the door have a certain mechanical strength and rigidity, the back of the door is equipped with stiffeners. In order to reduce the noise generated during door movement, anti vibration materials shall be applied on the back of the door panel. There are two types of door guide rails: flat steel and C-shaped folding guide rails; The door is connected with the guide rail through a pulley, and the lower part of the door is equipped with a slider, which is inserted into the chute of the sill; The sill for guiding the lower part of the door is made of cast iron, aluminum or copper profiles. Generally, the freight elevator is made of cast iron sill, and the passenger elevator can be made of aluminum or copper sill.
The car and landing door shall be non perforated, with a clear height of not less than 2 m. The external surface of the automatic landing door shall not have a concave or convex part greater than 3 mm. (except for triangular unlocking). The edges of these concave or convex parts shall be chamfered in both directions. The landing door with door lock shall have a certain mechanical strength. In the opening direction of the horizontal sliding door, when 150N manpower (without tools) is applied on the most unfavorable point, the gap between the door leaves and between the door leaves and the column, lintel shall not be greater than 30mm. The excess of the net entrance width of the landing door over the net entrance width of the lift car on either side shall not be greater than 0.05m.
