    Information

    Inspection method: When the escalator is running, it is found that the handrail has foaming phenomenon. Stop the escalator, remove the handrail, and observe whether there is fine foam accumulation in the groove at the end of the handrail guide and the groove at the 180-degree wheel group.

    Process:

    1) Observe whether the transition at the joint of the handrail guide is smooth, there should be no steps larger than 0.2mm and gaps larger than 0.3mm, and adjust if necessary. If there is still a step after adjustment, use an angle grinder or a file to grind the protruding position;

    2) The connecting pieces inside the handrail guide rail should not exceed the top surface of the handrail guide rail, and the handrail guide rail should be connected smoothly. If the partial guide rail is damaged or has abnormal protrusions, repair or replace it;

    3) Open the upper inner cover of the escalator, run the escalator, and observe the friction between the friction wheel and the handrail. If the handrail is running, adjust it according to the method of adjusting the deviation of the handrail.

    4) After the adjustment, clean the end of the handrail guide rail and the 180-degree wheel group.

     

    Inspection method: Running the escalator

    1) Observe whether the movement of the handrail is eccentric;

    2) Whether there is friction between the handrail and the rubber at the entrance and exit;

    3) Whether the rubber at the entrance and exit of the handrail is deformed;

    4) Whether the handrail entrance and exit switches show signs of movement or have already moved;

    5) Press the handrail with the rubber at the entrance and exit, with a force of about 2kgf, observe whether the switch moves. After releasing the hand, the rubber at the entrance and exit should automatically reset.

    Process:

    1) Open the inner cover above the friction wheel and observe the running track of the handrail when the escalator goes up;

    2) Check whether the friction wheel is cutting the belt. If the belt is cut, adjust the three points of H, F and G of the guide wheel group (add or subtract spacers appropriately at the H point) to the level of the supporting wheel of the wheel group; (refer to Figure 1)

    3) When scraping out the bottom of the inlet, adjust the idler I to the level.

    4) Adjust the levelness of the handrail guide and the verticality of the glass.
