There are many reasons for the failure of the escalator. When the escalator fails, we should first keep calm, hold the handrail well, can not run up and down, shout for help, and help others to press the emergency stop button, and wait for rescue. The emergency stop button is generally under the escalator operation indicator light, and the escalator will automatically stop slowly after pressing for 2 seconds.
